After taking our cat to a local vet clinic, he was diagnosed with glaucoma and we were told that he would need both eyes removed. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion and took him to Southeast Oakville Veterinary Hospital. Their team went above and beyond to investigate the cause of his sudden loss of sight. To our relief they discovered that he does not have glaucoma and therefore does NOT need to have his eyes removed. The team kept us updated and informed each step of the way which gave us much comfort and piece of mind. Milosh especially enjoyed all of the attention and cuddles he received from this dedicated and caring team during his stay. Not only is the team excellent, this brand new, carefully designed facility has state of the art features which offers only the very best care for it’s patients. From the moment we dropped Milosh off, we had the confidence of knowing he was in the best hands. We will definitely be back and will be recommending SOAH to others!
I brought my two cats to Dr. Derek Peters today and had an amazing experience! As a new patient, I wasn’t sure what to expect but this clinic far exceeded my expectations! The front reception decor was exceptional and the examination rooms were very clean with some tasteful art on the wall with lots of natural sunlight! Dr. Peters was very detail oriented when doing his examination with the cats and they were instantly comfortable which is quite rare and speaks to Dr. Peters talents and experience. I will definitely come back to see Dr. Peters and the rest of the friendly staff and highly recommend Southeast Oakville Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for a vet they can trust!
Dr. Jakubowski was very patient and so gentle, putting our dog at ease during a very thorough exam. After a discussion about next steps, options, and future considerations we had a well thought out positive plan in place.
Unfortunately, my dog has had many health issues and we have a lot of experience in emergency hospitals and with vets, so I can’t stress enough how pleased we are with the entire experience here.
This is a veterinary hospital that really cares for their patients and clients.
Dr. Derek was fantastic and thorough, taking the time to answer all of my questions and making my dogs feel comfortable. I feel confident in the care my dogs received and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for top-notch veterinary services!
