Our practice is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). We’re now one of only two AAHA Accredited General Veterinary Hospitals in Oakville!
Achieving AAHA Accreditation
AAHA accreditation means that our hospital has undergone a voluntary, rigorous evaluation based on more than 900 additional standards that assess various aspects of veterinary care. Being an AAHA-accredited facility means we adhere to stringent industry standards in patient medical care, equipment, facility management, and team training. We are required to be evaluated and meet updated standards every two years.
This prestigious accreditation is awarded to only about 5% of veterinary practices in Ontario, and we are honored to be among this select group.

“Middle of a long, holiday weekend and of course my regular vet is closed. I called around and found Southeast. I described my problem and said I would be there within the hour. When I arrived they were waiting for me and had all the materials and equipment ready. What a relief! Even though it’s a long weekend, the hospital was fully staffed with a vet on duty and all the support staff that is needed to run a hospital. Alyssa was at reception and she took all my information while the staff had already begun their work. She was very helpful and as a Registered Vet Technician she was able to answer all my many questions. While I was waiting for news I observed that the staff was very kind and collaborative with each other – and when I remarked as such it was explained to me that even though the practice is new, this team has a very long and successful history of working with each other and this bodes well for patients. The hospital is easy to find with excellent signage. The facility is new and very bright and airy and it seems that a lot of thinking went into the design. I also noted that the hospital had AAHA accreditation which is a designation that is much more difficult to obtain than the usual OVMA accreditation. I was not there for surgery but it would certainly be a relief to see the AAHA sign if I had attended for surgery. I am a dog breeder and walking into an unknown facility is very scary for me because over 35 years and spending thousands on vet bills every month, I’ve seen it all. But this hospital demonstrated nothing by the highest standards I could observe with my considerable experience. How lucky for you if your pets have already found this veterinary hospital or if you live in the area and can make them your permanent vet. You will be well-served.”
