Sophie Ha

Sophie’s journey to veterinary medicine began with a change of heart. After four years studying Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph, it was her animal biology and zoology courses that made something click. She realized her heart was firmly with animals and set her sights on a career as a veterinary technician, with a particular interest in surgery.

She chose SOVH for the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians and work alongside a team committed to putting clients and patients first, and with years of hands-on experience behind her, she continues to show up every day eager to grow and help in any way she can.

Outside of work, Sophie loves spending time with friends and family, hitting the trails with her dog Zues, and has recently discovered a passion for pilates.
